Animals That Begin With the Letter "O"
Julianne came home from school with a piece of paper taped around her arm. It said to dress in vocabulary. It seems that Mrs. Cole gave each of the children the chance to draw a letter from the alphabet. Then they were to decide on an animal who's name begins with that letter. Julianne picked the letter "O!" Oh, joy, animals that begin with the letter "O!"
This should have been such an easy project. There are otters, oxen, and even the cute and cuddly owl. Julianne's vocabulary word that she picked was Octopus. Great! That means I need to figure out how to dress her up as an octopus. I went to Michael's to get some ideas. Lucky me, I found these tails with polka dots (I mean...I found eight tentacles with suckers on them) and they already had a badge clip on them. Perfect! I got her a blue t-shirt and found the blue visor to give her the oval octopus head. Slip, clip, clip and I was done. She looked so cute!
